In Spain Cargill is a key provider of oilseeds and grains into the food supply chain. The company also produces starches and sweeteners in its Martorell factory (Barcelona) and rehydration solutions in the form of serum for hospital use. In Barcelona, Cargill has a soybean crush plant which serves the food industry and animal nutrition plants supplying farmers.
