The company has a legacy dating from 1551 and is the oldest company in Spain and the 17th oldest in the world. As one of the biggest wine producers in Spain and owner of the largest area of vineyards in Europe, the communication is very challenging.

SCR coordinated the communication working with Codorniu’s in-house team on many fronts covering all the different press angles: visits, events, tastings, international press visits to wineries with specialist journalists in the wine sector. SCR handled corporate communication on management, acquisitions, strategies, media training of top executives and crisis communication; as well as trade fairs, video communication, coordination with the in-house marketing department for big events such as sailing regattas, VIP parties and the celebrating of the company’s 125 years since Codorniu launched the first CAVA in Spain.
